MEET THE TEAM

Karin Bradford

Founder

Karin embarked on a career in injury recovery following a near-fatal car accident and numerous severe training accidents. This also inspired her to study the science of human performance and recovery.  After the proverbial 10 000 hours of experience and absorbing all sources of knowledge, she commenced formal studies by pursuing an Exercise Science diploma with Health and Fitness professionals academy and later went on to complete her Certification in Advanced Sports Massage Therapy through the International Academy of Healing Hands.  In addition, she studied muscle activation, trigger point therapy and detoxifying acupuncture through recognised learning centres.

Karin is a gifted athlete.  She avidly partook in ballet and competitive swimming eventually becoming a competitive triathlete.   In 2008 she qualified for the Ironman 70.3 world championship and had the opportunity to represent her country in the Olympic distances triathlon more than once.

Karin’s unfortunate accidents exposed her to an array of well tried and tested expert medical practitioners that have been instrumental as mentors. This network that she built also allows her to provide patients with a wide variety of experts to further enhance treatment if and when a condition requires additional therapy.

Now, with over 12 years of practising in this field, Karin has combined these skills, knowledge and her own experiences to create a unique form of therapy that is tailored for individuals from all walks of life, from the professional athlete to the weekend warrior and even the stressed office worker that is struggling to cope with stress, or just a stiff back and neck.

Karin’s constant hunger for knowledge ensures her relevance in cutting edge methods to improve her skills and enhance the wellbeing of all her patients.
